THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS!

Student should know and be able to perform all aspects of safe firearm handing, loading and unloading, malfunction clearing. This course is designed to introduce the intermediate or advanced shooter to the art of defensive and tactical pistol shooting. Students are expected to arrive 30 minutes before start time for set up and range safety briefing.

• – Drawing and re-holstering techniques
• – Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills

• – Presentation & draw techniques
• – Turning and shooting
• – Cover versus concealment
• – Seated position shooting
• – Close range speed shooting
• – Dueling

EQUIPMENT LIST:

• -Quality functional semi-automatic pistol
• -5 magazines minimum
• -Minimum of 400 rounds of brass cased ammunition
• – 5 rounds of dummy ammunition
• -Quality kydex holster —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon, worn out leather, or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, UNCLE MIKE’S, FOBUS, or ALIEN GEAR, holsters.
• We do not allow ankle, small of the back, or shoulder holsters.
• We recommend: Blackpoint Tactical, Black Center Tactical, 508 Holsters, Dark Star Gear, C&G Holsters, Raven Concealment, G-Code, or Concealment Express.)
• -Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.
• -Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide
• -Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.
• -Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.
• -Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
• -Earmuffs and earplugs
• -Notebook and pen for note taking
• -Humble willing to learn attitude
• – Lunch, snacks, hydration to last through out the day

No Refunds unless we cancel the course. If you have to cancel attending a course you are registered for you may opt to transfer to another course that has openings within the calendar year provided you give 72 hours notice of the cancellation. No exceptions.

No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72 hour notice forfeit their deposit.
