CLASS STARTS AT 9:00AM – PLEASE BE THERE NO LATER THAN 8:15AM FOR SET UP AND SAFETY BRIEFING.

CLASS IS AT – GREEN OPS STONE QUARRY RANGE – Culpepper, VA

Morning rally point is EV Bakers Store 4066 Zachary Taylor Rd, Culpeper VA at 8:00am

PREREQUISITE:
All students must understand and be able to successfully maintain all shooting safety fundamentals. Students should be familiar with the working operations of their carbine/rifle and pistol: load, unload, clear malfunctions.

CLASS STARTS ON TIME, PLEASE BE THERE NO LATER THAN 30 MINUTES PRIOR FOR SET UP AND SAFETY BRIEFING.

COURSE BREAKDOWN:

– Range orientation

– Firearms safety

– Warm-up drills

– Ready positions

– Accuracy drills

– Engaging multiple targets

– Close quarters engagements

– Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills

– Search & scan / situational awareness

– Cover & concealment

– Various shooting positions

– Moving and shooting

EQUIPMENT LIST:

-Quality functional long gun/carbine (AR-15 / M4 style) WITH TWO POINT SLING.

– Minimum of 500 rounds of rifle ammunition

– Minimum 4 magazines minimum for your carbine or rifle.

-– Semi-automatic pistol (a backup or secondary pistol is recommended)

– Minimum 4 magazines minimum for your pistol.

– Minimum of 300 rounds of pistol ammunition.

– Sturdy belt with quality holster. Please no flimsy, dangling, nylon, leather, or cloth holsters. No Blackhawk Serpa, Alien Gear, Uncle Mike’s, Blade Tech, Crossbreed or Fobus please! Kydex preferred.
We recommend holsters from: Safariland, Dark Star Gear, Tenicor, Raven Concealment, Blackpoint Tactical, Concealment Express, G-Code, or Black Center Tactical.

-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.

– Chest rig, plate carrier, etc.

-Ammunition dump pouch (optional)

-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide

-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.

-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.

-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

-Earmuffs and earplugs

-Knee pads and elbow pads (optional but recommended)

-notepad and pen for taking notes

-A humble, willing to learn attitude

No Refunds unless we cancel the course. If you have to cancel attending a course you are registered for you may opt to transfer to another course that has openings within the calendar year provided you give 7 days notice of the cancellation.

No exceptions.

No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 7 day notice forfeit their deposit.
