$250 PER PERSON UPON REGISTRATION.
This class meets all requirements needed to apply for a carry permit from the featured states.
With these permits a NY resident will be able to carry concealed in: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, & Wyoming.
To apply for a non-resident carry permit for Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire and Arizona, a New York state resident must have their valid, current New York Pistol Permit and an NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course Certificate (provided in this class).
CLASS BREAKDOWN:
– Basic pistol safety fundamentals.
– Range safety, orientation, and proper range protocol.
– Shooting fundamentals (grip, stance, breath control, trigger control, hold control, sight picture and sight alignment, follow through).
– Concealed carry responsibilities and obligations.
– Dry fire / live fire drills.
– Malfunctions and stoppages.
– Reloading techniques.
– Strong hand and weak hand shooting.
– Accuracy and speed development drills.
– Close quarter drills
– Gear discussion/selection.
EQUIPMENT LIST:
-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol
-5 magazines minimum
-Minimum of 400 rounds of quality ammunition.
– 5 rounds of dummy ammunition
-Belt mounted holster / kydex holster (OWB, IWB or AIWB) —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, UNCLE MIKE’S, FOBUS, or ALIEN GEAR, holsters.
We do not allow ankle, small of the back, or shoulder holsters.
We recommend: Blackpoint Tactical, Black Center Tactical, 508 Holsters, Dark Star Gear, C&G Holsters, Raven Concealment, G-Code, or Concealment Express.
-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.
-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide
-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.
-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.
-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
-Earmuffs and earplugs
-Notebook and pen for note taking
-Humble willing to learn attitude
– Lunch, snacks, hydration to last throughout the day

PREREQUISETS:
For classes in New York state, all students must have a valid current New York State issued pistol permit. Students should have completed a basic pistol safety course as required by their New York county of residence, or have attended an OnSight Frearms Training shooting class.
INCLUDED WITH THE CLASS:
1. OnSight Firearms Training provides all applications and/or links to applications, and application assistance for the featured states and an OnSight Firearms Training course completion certificate.
2. Fingerprinting for Connecticut and Arizona included in the class price (no extra fee). Fingerprinting for Florida and Virginia need to be completed by law enforcement. New Jersey requires an appointment with LiveScan or IdentToGo, https://www.identogo.com/, for fingerprinting. Maine and New Hampshire do not require fingerprints.
