THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS!

 

 

This class is intended for LE firearms instructors who want to learn the skills to utilize their pistol mounted optic sight in a precision shooting situation and be able to instruct / coach others in the learning process to also do so.

 

This class is intended to instill in students the mindset and skills to allow them to use their red dot pistols as a precision defensive tool in a deadly force encounter.

 

Students will come away from this class with a better understanding of their optics, and a higher level of confidence in their ability to effectively teach, operate, and wield it.

 

It is encouraged to run this class with the gear you would normally have in your work / duty gear.

 

 

PREREQUISITES:

 

Students should know and be able to perform all aspects of safe firearm handing, loading, unloading and malfunction clearing.

Students should be familiar with the basics of shooting (grip, stance, breath control, trigger control, follow through, etc.)

Class Requirements:

 

-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol with RDS optic (Trijicon RMR, Holosun, Delta Point, Aimpoint ACRO, Sig Romeo, etc.)

 

-5 magazines minimum

 

-Minimum of 800 rounds of Frangible ammunition.

(please contact us far in advacne if you have trouble sourcing frangible ammunition)

 

-Quality holster / kydex holster / Duty Rigs—PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters.

Strong side or appendix accepted.

NO BLACKHAWK SERPA (unless issued to you), Alien Gear, Uncle Mike’s, Fobus, or DeSantis holsters.

 

We recommend holsters from Tenicor, Dark Star Gear, Raven Concealment, Blackpoint Tactical, Safariland, Black Center Tactical, Concealment Express, C&G Holsters & G-Code.

 

-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.

 

-Ammunition dump pouch (optional)

 

-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide

 

-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.

 

-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.

 

-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

 

-Earmuffs and earplugs

 

-Notebook and pen for note taking

 

-Humble willing to learn attitude

No Refunds unless we cancel the course.

 

If you have to cancel attending a course you are registered for you may opt to transfer to another course that has openings within the calendar year provided you give 7 days notice of the cancellation.

No exceptions.

 

No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 7 days notice forfeit their deposit.
