PISTOL SKILL ORIENTATION
6pm to 9pm
(Class starts at 6pm sharp. Please arrive no later than 5:45pm for set up and safety brief)
$60 (Please note there is a $30 deposit due upon registration – $30 CASH due on day of class)
This class is designed to introduce the novice shooter to concepts and skills that they need to safely begin their training journey. With a morning discussion session covering critical topics on firearm function and ammunition that progresses into a dry fire then live fire afternoon. We will be working from a table, no holster, magazine carriers are needed for this class. Please read the equipment list below.

All work will be down from a table. No holsters or mag carriers needed.
Dry Fire practice—Grip orientation
Dry Fire practice—Trigger orientation
Dry Fire practice—Reload orientation/workspace orientation
Dry Fire practice—ready positions
Live Fire Drills
Executing Grip in Live Fire
Executing Trigger press in Live Fire
Understanding your full presentation/natural aiming area
Understanding sight acquisition during presentation
Understanding your point of aim at various distances
Wrap-up Discussion, next steps for gear and training.
EQUIPMENT LIST:
A semi-automatic pistol—recommend 4” barreled and up, but not required.
200 rounds of target ammunition
Minimum of 3 magazines
Clothing suitable for training in any weather, please note this class is outside
Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
Earmuffs/Ear Protection—electronic preferred.
Notebook and pen for note taking
Water, and snacks as needed
Humble willing to learn attitude

This course is limited to 8 students only. First 8 to buy tickets will attend.
Private and group shooting lessons available – Rifle – Pistol – Shotgun
Women’s classes available.
New York (resident) pistol permit classes, Utah, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Florida, Virginia, Arizona, Massachusetts non-resident carry permit classes available.

No Refunds unless we cancel the course.
If you have to cancel attending a course you are registered for you may opt to transfer to another course that has openings within the calendar year provided you give 72 hours notice of the cancellation. No exceptions.
No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72 hour notice forfeit their deposit.
